Wellness
consciousness can be defined as
an intuitive awareness of our bodys
needs. This ability can guide us
through the self-healing process.
As we begin
to feel more empowered through our
use of the Infinite Spectrum, we
may also develop the understanding
that we are fully responsible for
all conditions in our life, including
our health quality.
Although
health care professionals serve
vital functions in our society,
it is not necessary for individuals
to relinquish total control of their
healthcare into someone elses
hands. It is possible to know our
bodies so well that we can communicate
clearly with doctors, chiropractors,
counselors and other therapists
and take an active part in our own
wellness. When we can speak clearly
for our bodies, we help the health
care professionals serve us more
effectively.
Western
medicine is rediscovering the ancient
metaphysical wisdom that the physical
body has an intricate memory system
known as "cellular memory".
It stores the remembrance of everything
our body experiences.
Physical
development of disease causes response
in the emotional and mental bodies,
which have their own memory system
in the form of light patterns woven
into the etheric field.
The American
Institute of Stress estimates that
75-95% of visits to doctors can
be attributed to bodily stress.
Continual stress blocks the bodys
natural ability to repair, regenerate
and protect itself, and the effects
of unresolved stress range from
minor aches to major health concerns
such as heart disease, digestive
disorders, depression, respiratory
and skin problems.
A major
cause of stress is that our world
has become increasingly toxic. There
are toxins in the food we eat, the
air we breathe, the water we drink,
in our workplaces and in our homes.
There are also "inner"
toxins. We experience toxic effects
from negative thoughts and emotions
about ourselves, others and the
world. We create toxicity in our
bodies by not expressing emotions
in a healthy way.
Fortunately,
we have tools inherent to our bodies
that can help release these toxins,
thus allowing us to maintain or
create wellness. Among these tools
is the etheric energy field, which
consists of spiritual, mental and
emotional layers woven into a cocoon
of light. This cocoon of energy
houses our life essence. We also
have energy centers, or chakras,
which act as valves for life force
energy to flow in, around and through
our bodies.
In order
for healing to take place it is
essential for every aspect of the
body to be in alignment. This means
that the chakras must be aligned,
clear and balanced, and the energy
bodies are free of toxicity and
in perfect alignment. The moment
of healing occurs when all chakras
and energy bodies are aligned simultaneously.
The seven energy centers, or chakras
that we are introducing here include
the base, creative, solar plexus,
heart, throat, brow or third
eye and crown chakras.
These centers
of energy function as valves which
regulate the flow of energy through
our subtle energy system.
Chakras function based on choices
we make regarding our responses
to circumstances, situations and
relationships in our life.
The functional
quality of our chakras is dictated
by the decisions we make regarding
how we think and the way we respond
to what we feel.
Chakras
are non-physical in the sense that
most people are unable to perceive
them with their physical eyes.
They are rapidly vibrating vortices
of light, and elements of consciousness
similar to out aura.. Each chakra
vibrates to a specific color, and
musical note.
Chakras
vibrate slightly slower than the
aura, but more rapidly than the
energy of the physical body, thus
they are more dense, or ethereal
than the aura, and more ethereal
or less dense than the physical
body.
It is through
the endocrine and nervous systems
that our chakras "communicate"
with our physical body.
Each of
the seven basic chakras influence
the condition of one of the seven
endocrine glands, and also with
a grouping of nerves known as the
plexus. The plexus is divided into
three subgroups, the lower, middle
and upper nerve plexus.
The lower
nerve plexus communicates directly
to our reproductive organs.
The middle
nerve plexus located in the area
of the solar plexus chakra,
controls the functioning of our
heart and lungs.
The upper
nerve plexus in the brain is the
source of all our cognitive abilities
as well as our endocrine, neural,
and muscular functions.
Therefore,
each chakra can be related with
specific parts of the body and the
functions which are controlled by
the associated plexus or endocrine
gland.
Each chakra
also interfaces with our mental
and emotional body,
and affects how we think, feel and
act.
Following
are some affirmations that can be
used, in conjunction with Reiki
or meditation to assist in clearing
and balancing the chakras.
These affirmations indicate the
areas that each chakra relates to
in reference to our thoughts, feelings
and actions.
From the
Light of God within my being I release
all judgment and concern over fear,
prosperity and survival. Fear is
my teacher, I send it love and blessings.
(repeat 2 more times) And
So It Is
From the
Light of God within my being I release
all judgments and concern over sexuality,
procreation, organization, emotion
and nurturance .
(repeat 2 more times) And
So It Is
From the
Light of God within my being I release
all judgment and concern over power,
limitation and action. POWER is
my birthright, it cannot be misused.
Only used for the good of myself
and all creation. The only TRUE
power is LOVE
(repeat 2 more times) And
So It Is
From the
Light of God within my being I release
all judgment and concern over healing,
unity and love. I am love, I accept
Love from myself and others. I Love
myself.
(repeat 2 more times) And
So It Is
From the
Light of God within my being I release
all judgments and concern over creativity,
expression of Love and communication.
I will express and communicate with
Love for all creation. (repeat 2
more times) And So It Is
From the
Light of God within my being I release
all judgments and concern over imagination,
visualization and seeing God. I
now see God in myself and all creation.
(repeat 2 more times) And
So It Is
From
the Light of God within my being
I release all judgment and concern
over enlightenment and judgment.
I do not judge myself or others
anymore. I see all as one.
(repeat 2 more times) And
So It Is
Healing
takes place by changing energy.
Affirmations can be very powerful
instruments of change and transformation.
The spoken word, influences both
mental and emotional patterns which
are held in the etheric field.
The more frequently an affirmation
is spoken throughout the day, the
more effective it becomes.
Using affirmations is like reprogramming
a computer. You put new "codes"
in to replace old outdated programs.
When you
have done something that you wish
you had done differently, have you
ever said "Ohhh...I am so stupid!".
How about "I am getting so
fat!" Or has anyone ever said
to you "If you can't do it
right, don't do it at all!",
or "If you can't do this, you
will never amount to anything."
or "You have to work hard for
everything in life".
or "Life isn't easy".
Are any
of those familiar?
Statements like that affect our
personal programming, beliefs or
codes.
Try this:
Pay very close attention to your
body, and how you feel. Begin
very slow, very deep breathing and
focusing on relaxing your body from
head to toe. Perhaps you might do
an inner scan. Just close your eyes
and bring all your awareness to
the top of your head (inside your
head). Then slowly move your
awareness down through your body.
Be aware of how easily, or difficultly
your consciousness moves.
Does it move smoothly and easily
all the way to your toes, or is
there a feeling of sluggishness,
pain, or tingling anywhere?
Just make
a mental note of anything you feel.
Now, repeat
this three times "I
am sooo stupid!".
Check in
now and see how you feel.
Do another scan, pay attention to
each of the chakras and make note
of any differences you feel.
Now, if
you don't like what you feel, repeat
this three times
"I am a brilliant, confident,
successful person!"
Check in again and make note of
changes.
This exercise
can help you experience the power
your thoughts and words carry,
and how they affect your emotions.
There is
a direct interface between our mental
body, which houses our mental programming,
and our emotional body which is
home to our emotional coding. When
thoughts/words/energy enter the
mental body, they connect to the
emotional body and create an emotional
response. They can affect our sense
of self-worth, or personal empowerment
and many other things.
Take some
time to reflect on what type of
etheric programmer you are.
Do you feed yourself positive messages,
or negative ones?
It is relatively
easy to create changes in your thoughts,
beliefs and emotions by using affirmation.
In doing
so you can positively affect your
physical body as well.
Illness
begins in the mental body.
By changing unhealthy thought patterns,
you can change the way you process
your emotions, and ultimately the
energy that flows into your physical
body from your etheric field, chakras,
and through your meridians.
Healing
can be defined as a process which
leads to a sense of wholeness and
inner peace. The healing we speak
of here is related to, yet different
from "curing". As human
beings, we are so much more than
our physical bodies. We can also
see ourselves as a beautiful expression
of spirituality in physical form.
Our bodies are a blend of spiritual,
mental, emotional and physical energy
in continuous interplay. It is in
seeing ourselves through "spiritual
eyes" that we are able to affect
our sense of well-being, by journeying
into the healing power of our soul.
The knowledge
that an unseen energy flows through
all living things and is directly
related to health quality has been
part of the wisdom of world cultures
for millennia. Recent scientific
experiments have verified the existence
of this "life force energy",
and medical science is beginning
to recognize the role this energy
plays in the functioning of the
immune system and the healing process.
Now
we know our body is composed not
only of physical elements such as
muscles, bones, nerves, arteries,
organs, glands, etc.; it also has
a subtle energy system and chakras
through
which 'life force energy' flows.

Our physical
body is cocooned in many layers
of light known as etheric bodies.
In this illustration , the outer
image represents the spiritual body,
which has many layers. Inside the
spiritual body is the next level
which is the mental body. It cocoons
the emotional body, which in turn
surrounds the physical body.
These energy 'bodies' assist us
in processing our thoughts and emotions
and responses.
The energy bodies
house our chakras, enabling them
to work somewhat like valves
by facilitating the circulation
of life force energy through the
physical, mental,
emotional and spiritual bodies.
Our
physical body also relies on the
proper funtion of energy meridians
and nadas. These are like rivers,
or streams which carry our life
force energy throughout our physical
body, to nourish us and assist in
balancing our bodys systems
and functions.
Our physical body is alive because
of the 'life force energy' that
is flowing though it. If our 'life
force' is low or blocked, we are
more likely to get sick, but if
it is high and free flowing, we
more easily maintain health and
a feeling of well-being. Stress
and toxins disrupt and weaken the
flow of 'life force energy'. Stress
is often caused by conflicting thoughts
and feelings that become trapped
in one's subtle energy system. These
include fear, worry, doubt, anger,
anxiety, negative self-talk, etc.
Medical research has determined
that continual stress can block
the body's natural ability to repair,
regenerate and protect itself. Toxins
take many forms, pollution in the
air we breathe and the water we
drink, chemicals, pesticides and
antibiotics in our foods.
Negative thoughts can also create
toxins, and emotions that are not
expressed in a healthy way can als
be extremely toxic.
Reiki (ray-key) is a technique that
aids the body in releasing stress
and tension by creating deep relaxation.
Because of this, Reiki promotes
healing and health. The word Reiki
is made of two Japanese words -
Rei which means "the Wisdom
of God or the Higher Power"
and Ki which means 'life force energy.'
So Reiki means 'spiritually guided
life force energy. The Reiki system
of healing is a technique for transmitting
this spiritually guided life force
energy to yourself and others through
the hands and chakras into the subtle
energy system.
Reiki restores energy balance and
vitality by relieving the physical
and emotional effects of unreleased
stress. It gently and effectively
opens blocked meridians, nadas and
chakras, and clears the energy bodies,
leaving one feeling relaxed and
at peace.
Accelerate Healing
Provide a deep sense of relaxation
Facilitate the relief of pain
Assist the body in cleansing toxins
Balance the flow of subtle energy
by releasing blockages
Help the recipient contact the 'healer
within.'
A
treatment feels like warm, gentle
sunshine which flows through you,
surrounds you and comforts you.
Reiki treats the persons body,
emotions, mind and spirit as a whole.
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe
method of spiritual healing and
self-improvement that everyone can
use.
Reiki
is powerful, yet wonderfully gentle
and nurturing.
During
a treatment, the clients remain
fully clothed. Reiki is an effective
alternative,
or complement to massage therapy.
Reiki supports any medical, or supplemental
healing methods a client may be
using and is of growing interest
to chiropractors, medical doctors,
psychotherapists,
psychologists and hypno-therapists.
Anyone can learn to tap
into an unlimited supply of 'life
force energy to improve health and
enhance the quality of life by learning
Reiki, or by receiving treatments
from a
Reiki Practitioner or Master.
